Goodwill Ambassadors in the Social Media

Social Media Changed the Landscape for the Goodwill Ambassador

This page was replaced by the static buttons of the preferred social media links at the top of the page that we use since we have updated, archived and reintroduced our primary articles under our new domain name.

Goodwill Ambassadors of the World, one of the original Globcal International Social Media/Networking Programs could be readily and easily found throughout the social media through this single reference page from 2010-2015. We made it our business to know about what all goodwill ambassadors do and how they are doing it. It is our objective to report the news and manage human resource capital ourselves as an organization to help our own members grow and prosper, the guidelines we developed can help all other goodwill ambassadors do the best job and further help as many people as possible in their missions.

Social media has changed and only the right posts made under the right conditions can go viral, and then the question is the purpose of the viral post, whether it was stupid, a gaff, funny, or something with great purpose? This leads us as publishers to shy away from the negative and focus on the positive; but also more recently there is a great focus on identifying the sources, reliability, authenticity, and legality of the information prior to publishing it or sharing it.

In general the social media especially Facebook and LinkedIn are very useful tools, Twitter is as well if you are only using verified profiles; that is if it is used well by correctly describing the post transparently, if it is a photo geotag it, add alt text, tag other people, pull out all the stops, describe each photo that you upload, because if you don't someone else may in some way that you don't like.

We simply cannot entertain celebrities even goodwill ambassadors that we cannot communicate with as a news agency and Sustainable Development Goals data tracker of the actual work goodwill ambassadors perform and accomplish reported from themselves. Nearly all celebrities demonstrate that they have about as much sense as the next person when they are out and about, they simply do not know how to make well informed or complete posts that are credible without applying themselves or their public relations agent to the task.

Then there is the problem with fraudulent, fake and phoney profiles of celebrities that are not real, with entire groups of people following them, there are people out there copying our program, using our trademark, our copyright and our company name to actually create Goodwill Ambassadors which simply cannot be done honorably or officially without a nation-state or the authority of a head-of-state or their equivalent in the international theater. All these groups combined with Ambassadors of Goodwill Industries stores made the social media something that needs to be programmed into a Mobile App to eliminate the wannabe goodwill ambassadors without real titles.
